SRRA Annual General Meeting 12th June

Our AGM will take place at 7.30 pm on Thursday 12th June, upstairs at The Open House.

We really want to encourage people to be part of the committee. This group steers the business of the Association and has fun, is supportive and has a sense of achievement within our neighbourhood. Please email Jo Whitehead if you want to be involved, if you can’t be at the AGM one of the current committee will speak for you. Otherwise you are invited to come and introduce yourself.

We look forward to seeing you on 12th June, we have a packed agenda and are very limited for time so please arrive promptly if possible.

 

Play Streets stewards needed!

We have had several successful Play Streets events this summer with plenty of children and parents but regrettably too few stewards.

Fridays 15.15-18.15 (light and weather permitting):

26th Sept, 10th & 24th Oct.

Plus Christmas special 14.00-16.00 Sunday 7 Dec.

St Andrews Road development approved.

The application to build seven houses on the St Andrews Road Day Centre site has been approved on appeal.

This year the group has 23 Artists Open Houses including two new members, plus the participation of The Open House Pub and Varndean School.
