The window is now open to register your thoughts on the number of licenced cabs in the city.

Brighton and Hove Council taxi licensing have a policy restricting the number of hackney carriage vehicle licences they issue.

The Department for Transport encourages a three-yearly review of this policy by the undertaking of an independent survey of the level of demand for hackney carriages.

As part of this a wide-ranging independent stakeholder consultation is required – and businesses are invited to take part in the 2015 review.

CTS Traffic & Transportation are working with Peter Brett and Associates to undertake this review for the Council licensing department and committee. They will be holding a drop-in face to face meeting day on Tuesday 7th July 2015 at Brighton Town Hall, committee room 2.

Attendees are invited in for 10-20 minute slots on that day, to register contact Ian Millership on
