The Rose Hill Tavern listed as a community asset.

Rose Hill Tavern 2

The Rose Hill Tavern has become the first pub in Brighton and Hove to be listed as an asset of community value (ACV). Campaigners hope this will prevent developers from turning the pub, which opened in 1870 and finally closed in May, from being turned into a three-bed basement and ground floor maisonette. An existing flat on the first floor would remain. Unless you’re a local, you’ll know the pub for its distinctive green-tiled United Breweries front.
