Hollingbury Park listed for potential housing development.

Sites on the urban fringe, including land south of Hollingbury Golf Course and east of Ditchling Road, comprising the area north of the reservoir, Roedale allotments, and Hollingbury Park have been listed as possibly suitable for housing development.

Brighton and Hove City Council, its officers and consultants, have been required to identify sites that have potential for building homes in the medium to long term.

Council officers believe the 39 sites have potential for up to 1,180 homes; the sites cover 31 hectares – 7.5% of the total area of the urban fringe.
